Lowveld Academy Primary hosts a very successful sports day

Lowveld Academy (LA) Primary School hosted a successful sports day at Drakensig Primary School recently.

LA won the soccer with Southern Cross in second place. Mariepskop Primary School took first place in netball and Gravelotte Primary School ended in second place.

LA thanked the teachers from surrounding schools for their help as well as Drakensig Primary for allowing LA to make use of their sports facilities. They also thanked the parents and learners for their contributions, volunteering, and participation.

LA thanked the sponsors; Blydevallei donated naartjies and Steers Hoedspruit offered discounted burgers for the teachers. Manzi Water donated water, All or Nothing Adventures donated coffee, muffins, a gazebo, and ice, Driehoek Butcher Shop sponsored mincemeat, and PicknPay Hoedspruit for various ingredients.
