Siba Mtongana launches colourful kitchenware collection

Siba is proud of her range that includes, aprons, cutlery and much more available nationwide.

Siba Mtongana’s cooking brand has expanded to include a kitchenware collection in one of the biggest homeware stores in the country.

During last week’s announcement, the Cooking with Siba chef said it has been in the works for two years. The popular TV chef said her Siba At Home range would have been released earlier in her career but she suffered a few delays.

It is now available in brick-and-mortar @Homeware stores nationwide and on its online store. The collection is made locally and the colours are on trend with modern florals, pastel pinks and blues.

“Host and entertain with confidence and style this festive season with this proudly locally made Siba range, from the delicious food you make to the apron you wear, right to the kitchenware you use.

“Many of you will know how much I love beautiful things in the kitchen, hence the beautiful hand-painted ceramics and good quality sustainably woven recycled textiles presented in modern and on-trend colours and prints! I love duck egg and coral colours,” she wrote on Instagram.

The range includes aprons, cutlery, jugs, cake stands, tea sets and her previous cookbooks that will be sold as well, just in time for Christmas.

“These are also perfect as gifts for all types of special occasions this festive season for your loved ones, especially for Christmas.

“The reception of the news has been phenomenal. Thank you all for the well wishes, love and support for this new venture!” she added.

Our three favourite things from Siba At Home:

Siba’s jug

Priced at R699, the jug is a hand-painted ceramic vicky jug with 22-carat gold detail that should last you a long time. The design is a classic and will steal the eye on any table.

The colours are duck egg (greenish-blue) and pastel pink.
