Wines of the Day: Dessert wine
Wine with dessert is a whole new field to discover. Why not introduce Husk Brandy (Grappa) into your life. Traditionally it is drunk at the end of the meal with your espresso or as an Aperitif, but never as a shooter. Otherwise stay with the tried and tested stickies.

Wines with a five star value offer outstanding quality for the price, four star offer very good quality for the price while a one star value, well, it’s your choice.

Tasting Notes
Fully translucent. Floral almost muscat aromas carrying through to a spicy sweet note on the palate, good viscosity, perhaps a little intense, persistent and fine on the finish.

Green tinged mid gold. Honeyed pineapple and marmalade aromas, viscous and rich on the palate, savoury jasmine notes, dense but uncloying on the finish.

Tasting Notes
Amber with deep green tinge. Hugely plush, raisiny notes layered and harmonising apricot-pear compote, faint marzipan hints very dense, sweet and rich but all in very good balance.
