SPCA Nelspruit urgently in need of food donations

The SPCA Nelspruit desperately needs dry and wet food for dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

The SPCA Nelspruit is in urgent need of food donations for the animals as its storeroom supplies are running low once again.

The branch’s chairperson, Lize Pienaar, said despite multiple requests for support, they have only received minimal food donations. They desperately need dry and wet food for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

“We need to take care of all these animals, but we can’t keep up with the expenses. We really need the assistance of our community to feed the animals. If we have to spend a lot of our donation money on food every week, we will not be able to assist animals in remote areas. Our fuel account is also between R25 000 and R30 000 per month. We cannot do this without the support of our wonderful community members. Please assist us. Without the SPCA there will be no assistance for animals in need,” she said.
