TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The LOWVELDERS GOT TALENT competition has three modeling age categories:

5 – 7 years, 8– 12 years and 13 – 19 years and a junior and senior age category per division for the performing arts Singing, Dancing and Acting 7-13 years as well as 13 and older.

The Promoter reserves the right to request identity documents to confirm the identity of the winners. The contestants of the competition must reside in South Africa.

1. The Promoter is the LOWVELDER

2. This competition is open from 6 March 2024 and ends at midnight on 8 June 2024. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

1. Any director, member, partner, employee, agent, or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers, or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners, or immediate family members are not allowed to enter.
2. Entry into LOWVELDERS GOT TALENT competition is free, however if you are selected as a semi-finalist, you will be required on a stipulated registration date as per SMS, the official SMS number is 0627311854 (any other number is invalid) to pay a registration fee of R250 via EFT.
3. A photo of every contestant will be taken at the scouting session hosted at the various scouting venues, or from online entries as well as a 30-second video of performing arts divisions. Semi-finalists will be selected based on their photos and videos at the discretion of the organisers.
4. Photos for modeling and a 30-second video for performing arts contestants will be required for the entry process. Photos will be uploaded to LOWVELDER’S Facebook page. Contestants are requested to share their branded photos to their Facebook profile or the parent’s Facebook profile. Please like the applicable regional LOWVELDER Facebook page. An SMS will be sent when your photo is uploaded and ready for you to share.
5. Each region’s semi-finalists for Mpumalanga will receive a WhatsApp to confirm the final date and the registration payment will be done via EFT, an SMS will be sent as a reminder beforehand. The registration fee of R250 will be payable for individuals as well as for each participant in a group performance.
6. A workshop will be hosted. When you register, you will receive your workshop date.

Times per division will be sent via SMS and will be in the registration letter. A door fee of R350 will be payable for the final event. Four guests per contestant will be allowed. This door fee is compulsory per individual. A T-shirt will need to be bought for the final event at R150. All traveling and accommodation costs are for the contestant.

This fee of R400 and R150 will be payable only at the workshop.

• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered.
• Finalists will be required to attend the final event.  Times and dates to be discussed at workshop.
• The winners could be required to be available by the organisers when required. The pictures taken for marketing purposes will be used at the discretion of the organisers and will not be negotiable. No liability will be taken for the use of photos.
• The objective of the competition is to primarily create a platform for exposure for contestants and not income streams for the contestants.
• The participant and legal guardian provide LOWVELDERS GOT TALENT and its brand partners the rights to use, re-use, publish and republish any photography, video clips, and or any other promotional material.
• By signing the entry form, you permit LOWVELDER and its brand partners (sponsors) permission to contact you.
• The organisers nor any of their associates and/or any of their affiliations will be held liable for any damages, loss, or injury, in any way whatsoever be it of an accidental nature, and/or of gross negligence. The Legal Guardian/participant must make him/herself aware of the Terms and Conditions and agree to partake in the competition at own risk.
• A copy of these rules can be found on the relevant LOWVELDERS GOT TALENT WEB PAGE LINK TO BE PROVIDED BY SMS throughout the competition.
• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.
• The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, or delayed electronically corrupt entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
• All prizes are not exchangeable or transferrable.
• The names of the winners, once contacted, will be published on the relevant Social Media pages.
• The Promoter reserves the right to use the images taken of the winners for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without further remuneration being made payable to the winners. However, the winners have the right to object to these images being used by written notification to the Promoter at LOWVELDERS GOT TALENT e-mail address.
• The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.
• Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers, or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.

The judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered, our brand partners and coaches reserve the right to issue contracts or coaching to any contestant of their choice and not necessarily the winners.

For school-going participants under the age of 18 years, there will be an opportunity for an individual participant to win R5000 for their school as well as a group performance to win a sum of R5000 for their school. The overall winners of individual performances and group performances ie, singing, dancing, acting and modeling across all age categories will be entered into a live draw and the winning participating schools will be drawn on the day for individual performance as well as a group performance. A total of R10 000 will be given to a school with a group winner or individual winner.
