Get ready for some refreshment

Looking for good music to get your party started and to make sure it keeps going? Look no further, a group of Mtoni's finest are the talented new kids on the DJ block.

Clifford Mokwena (Cliff), Mahlatsi Mokwena (Macue), Lucky Moela (Junior) and Trinic Mohlape (Cryoniq) have created something different, available to all lovers of good house music on social media platforms.

One is almost tempted to call it refreshing, if it wasn’t such a cliche because of their group name – The Refreshment Hour Family (TRMH fam).

What is TRMH? It is four aspiring artists, aiming for the stars, sharing their talent for creating heavenly musical mixes via a Facebook page and with links to free downloads.

Every second month, they each compile an hour-long mix, called The Refreshment Hour, boasting the latest and trendiest house tracks. They also host a guest DJ mix to add some variety to their already spicy lineup.

All four of these talented artists grew up in Mhluzi, with Cliff and Macue having been friends since their primary school days at Mthombeni Primary.

Go like their Facebook page (The Refreshment Hour) where you can find links to their “mixed tapes” which you can download and share for free.

If you like what you hear, you can book one or all of them for an event.

For bookings phone 082 505 5356.
