Protesters block off roads around Duvha
Demonstrations around Duvha Power Station on Tuesday morning resulted in the closure of several roads around the Power Station.
Protestors are believed to be mostly NUM Members who last week handed a memorandum of their grievances following Eskom’s announcement to close at least five power stations in the area.
Trucks blocked roads on Tuesday morning with even a Wendy house pushed into the middle of the road.
No vehicles were allowed to pass through and Police were responding to the scene.
