Video: Fight over petrol bill at Caltex

Tensions ran high after a fight erupted over a petrol bill at a garage in Middelburg.

Video material show how a physical fight erupts after a dispute about how much petrol the client wanted.

The petrol attendant said that he made sure about the amount the client wanted by repeating it back to him.

After the client confirmed that he wanted R200’s worth of petrol, he only offered R100 to the attendant.

The petrol attendant refused for the client to leave the premises before paying his petrol bill in full where after the client became aggressive.

Bystanders intervened to stop the fight.

The client, who was detained on the scene, went to his employers accompanied by police to fetch the outstanding money.
