(Photos) Update: Meyer street re-opened

Meyer Street has re-opened following protests by Nkangala FET college students who have a dispute with management

Students protest outside the Nkangala FET College.

The road was temporarily closed when students blocked the road with objects and stoned cars on Meyer Street. Trucks and vehicles were also prevented from using the road.

 

The protest has since moved to outside the college and Meyer Street was re-opened.
Police are monitoring the situation.
