VIDEO – Illegal drifting, spinning, turning stomachs, not heads say complainants

Businesses in Milli Street says that the arrogant disregard of road rules by a high performance auto shop in the street, is driving them up the walls.

Patrons and employees of the shop regularly spin and drift in the street during office hours.

Neighbouring businesses has had enough of this, but says the SAPS and traffic department has done nothing to combat the illegal activity.

Video footage taken by complainants clearly show how the drivers of the revved up cars, spin the vehicles recklessly close to the electric substation supplying power to the whole area.

“This is affecting not only our businesses, but poses a threat to the safety of law abiding motorists and pedestrians,” one complainant told www.mobserver.co.za.

Complainants say that the culprits are associated with German Auto, and not Lesley Performance Centre.
