Adv. Basson said that the place where Sithole alleges he crossed the railway line and the ditch he jumped over is 1,3 km apart.

Basson said that Sithole was never there and that his whole story was made up.

“There was no incident as far as you are concerned that took place on 17 August and my client will testify that he does no know you. ”

Sithole said under re-examination that he lied down on the back of Jackson’s bakkie because he did not want the Big House community to think he “was working with the whites”.
