VIDEO: Strate word riviere na hemele sluise oopmaak

Die sluise van die hemele het gistermiddag oopgemaak en vinnig die strate in riviere verander.

Belfast inwoners het videomateriaal gedeel van hoe die reënwater opdam in hulle woongebiede nadat hulle 90 mm gemeet het.

Die Middelburg omgewing het meer as 60 mm op plekke gemeet en die damstand het heelwat gestyg.

Die reënvallesings is as volg:

Middelburg Sentraal: 54 mm
Kanonkop: 66 mm
Aerorand: 65 mm
Dennesig: 55 mm
Clubville: 50 mm
Gholfsig: 36 mm

Die Middelburg damstand het gestyg tot 75.44% met ’n invloei van 8.71m3/s teen 18:00 gisteraand.
