Police confirm second death in accident which claimed life of seasoned detective
A second person has passed away following last week's collision on the old Witbank road which claimed the life of detective, Captain Shadrack Nkosi, whose memorial service was held this week.

The local SAPS confirmed that Thloriso Jonas Tladi from Burgersfort had passed away in hospital.
Captain Nkosi, who died at the scene of the accident, was on his way back to Middelburg with a prisoner he and colleague, Sergeant Chico Mtsweni, went to fetch in Nigel, in connection to a local investigation.
The identity of the seriously injured prisoner will not be released until he is charged with a crime and appeared in court.
The late Mr Tladi was a passenger in the Sprinter minibus with which Captain Nkosi’s vehicle collided.
The case docket has been handed over to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate due to police officers having been involved in the deadly crash.
Captain Nkosi was a seasoned detective tasked with investigating serious and violent crimes.
