The accident occurred shortly after 20:00.

Its unclear what led to the accident resulting in the unidentified Vivo driver, being trapped inside the vehicle.

According to police, the victim succumbed to his injuries while emergency personnel were busy extracting him from the vehicle.

The truck driver was not injured.
