Geliefde ‘meneer Morné’ sterf aan Covid
Die bekende ou-Middelburg onnie, mnr. Morné Scholtz, het gister weens nagevolge van die Covid 19 virus gesterf.
Mnr. Scholtz was vir jare ’n onderwyser by Laerskool Middelburg en later by Laerskool Kanonkop, voordat hy na Barberton toe is.
Hy was tans die hoof van Laerskool Marietjie van Niekerk op Bethal.
• Leerlinge en onderwysers sal dié saggeaarde man onthou met sy passie vir sy werk en liefde vir musiek.
Hy was vir jare ook betrokke by die afrigting van kore by die twee laerskole op Middelburg.
