Vrou wat alles met oorgawe gedoen het, sterf in motorfietsongeluk

Chené van Zyl (28), wat bekend was dat sy alles in oorgawe gedoen het, het Saterdagmiddag in ’n motorfietsongeluk net buite Trichardt gesterf.

Me. Van Zyl, ’n oudleerling van Hoërskool Kanonkop was saam met haar man, Quintin, en ’n ander groep motorfietsryers, wat ontbyt gaan eet het op Trichardt.

Die egpaar het in die agterste groep met hul motorfietse gery.

Na wat verneem word het ’n voertuig in haar baan in beweeg op ’n draai op die N17 en het sy uitgeswaai, waarop sy die sperreeling getref het.

Sy is op die toneel oorlede.

’n Aankomende bakkie het kort na die ongeluk oor die motorfiets gery, en dit het aan stukke gespat.

“Die Here se tyd is nie ons tyd nie,” het me. Van Zyl se ma, Kleintjie Nel, vanoggend gesê.

Sy het gesê dat haar dogter alles met oorgawe gedoen het en ’n sprankelende geaardheid gehad het, wat vir almal gewys het dat sy gelukkig was.

Me. Van Zyl word oorleef deur haar man, Quintin, kinders JR (2) en Anrieke (18 maande), ouers André en Kleintjie Nel, suster Cherize, skoonouers, pastoor en me. Robert en Olgie van Zyl, familie en vriende.
