Ongeluk op selfde pad waar meisie sterf
Net ’n maand nadat ’n 22-jarige meisie in ’n motorfietsongeluk op die Belfast/Dulstroompad gesterf en haar vriend ernstig beseer is, was daar gister weer ’n ongeluk op dieselfde pad.
Krysten Butcher het op 1 Maart in die ongeluk, wat tussen Belfast en Dullstroom gebeur het, gesterf.
Haar vriend, Ollie (Evert) Coetzee het die onderste deel van sy been verloor in die ongeluk en is steeds in die Witbank Hospitaal waar hy vir ernstige beserings behandel word.
Twee dae nadat hy in die hospitaal opgeneem is, is die res van die been, net onderkant die heup, geamputeer.
• Motoriste het laat weet dat daar gister (Dinsdag) weer ’n ongeluk in dieselfde omgewing was.
Na wat verneem word het die bestuurder van die voertuig uitgeswaai vir ’n slaggat in die pad, beheer verloor en het die voertuig gerol.
Niemand is ernstig beseer nie.
