Passasier in taxi gryp tuinvurk om ander taxi aan te val
’n Vrou moes magteloos toekyk hoe ’n aggressiewe passasier uit ’n taxi spring en haar werker se tuinvurk gryp.
Die dief is daarna agter ’n ander taxi aan.
Me. Mari Hamann (van 4 Seasons Tuindienste) sê hulle was omstreeks 09:45 besig by die KFC, op die hoek van Cowen Ntuli- en John Magagulastraat.
Sy het by haar bakkie gestaan, terwyl haar werker met ’n tuinvurk die tuin netjies gemaak het.
Me. Hamann het opgemerk dat iemand by ’n taxi inklim, maar die volgende oomblik het alles soos ’n rolprent voor haar afgespeel.
“Die taxi het seker iemand opgelaai, wat nie op sy roete mag wees nie, want die volgende oomblik het seker agt taxi’s ’n U-draai gemaak en die verkeer gestop!”
’n Woordewisseling het tussen die mense ontstaan, waarop ’n passasier uit een van die taxi’s gespring, die tuinvurk uit haar oorblufte werker se hand gepluk en teruggespring het in die taxi.
Tussen die gebeure deur, het me. Hamann in haar bakkie gespring en na veiligheid gejaag, want sy was bang hulle gryp die ander tuinvurke, pikke en grawe agterop haar voertuig.
“As daar verdere aanvalle of selfs ’n moord later vandag is waar ’n tuinvurk die wapen is, is dit my tuinvurk! Dink net wat kon gebeur het as hulle die ander tuingereedskap in die hande kon kry!” het sy ontsteld gesê.
