Shots were fired at a Loskop Alarms security guard on Wednesday at the Moutse Mall, Dennilton.

Shots were fired at a Loskop Alarms security guard on Wednesday at the Moutse Mall, Dennilton.

The incident occurred at about 10:00 near the Post Office. According to the Managing Director of Loskop Alarms, Danna Strydom, the security guard was patrolling the mall when someone told him that there was an armed robber at the Post Office.

When the security guard went to investigate, two of the suspects started shooting at the security guard. He sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to Life Healthcare Midmed Hospital in Middelburg.
