Boewe ruk bejaarde se deur oop, hy soek net kaarte terug

Nadat boewe sy deure oopgeruk het en al sy kaarte, waaronder sy wapenlisensies gevat het, vra mnr. Jan Blom dat mense net op die uitkyk moet wees vir sy kaarte.

Mnr. Blom, ’n Kranspoortdorp inwoner, het Donderdagmiddag op pad huistoe omstreeks 16:30 gou by Polar Bear gestop om roomys te koop.

Hy het per ongeluk die knoppie gedruk om al vier sy dubbelkajuit bakkie se deure oop te maak.

Weens ’n rugprobleem klim hy redelik stadig in sy voertuig en terwyl hy nog besig was om in te klim, het die passasiersdeur oopgevlieg.

Die booswig het blitsig die paneelkassie oopgeruk en ’n ou tjekboekhouer, wat hy gebruik om al sy kaarte in te hou, uit die paneelkassie gegryp.

“Toe ek later teruggaan, het die tjekboekhouer by die besigheid langs die kasregister op die tafel gelê. Hulle het nie geweet wie dit daar neergesit het nie.”

Mnr. Blom vra dat indien enige persoon dalk van sy kaarte (ID en wapenlisensies) optel in die omgewing van Walter Sisulu- en Cowen Ntulistraat, om hom te bel by 082 441 5948.
