Die staalpenrowers is weer bedrywig op die N4 en alhoewel niemand gisteraand beroof is nie, is daar weer voertuie se wiele beskadig met staalpenne op die pad.
Die ysterpenne wat op die N4 gegooi word sodat bande beskadig word en motoriste dan beroof word.
Verbygaande motoriste het gesien dat daar mense stop om bande te ruil nadat hulle net na 20:00 oor staalpenne op die N4 tussen die Vandyksdrif afrit en die tolhek gery het.
• Die polisie se mediakantoor sê hulle het geen klagtes gekry nie en is daar dus niemand beroof nie.
• Die staalpenrowers is al vir maande ’n ernstige probleem op die N4 en N12 in Mpumalanga en Gauteng en het me. Faith Shabangu etlike weke gelede gesterf toe sy van haar aanvallers probeer wegkom het en doodgery is.
• Twee weke gelede is een van die staalpenrowers in Gauteng gearresteer en is daar onder andere twee handwapens by hom gekry.
