’n Trok het beheer verloor in die laaste draai, omgeslaan en sy hele vrag pale in die poort afgegooi.

’n Aankomende voertuig het in die trok vasgery en daar is aanvanlik gesê dat die persoon wat in die ambulans behandel is, ’n passasier was in die voertuig.

Vanoggend is verneem dat dit die trokdrywer was wat beserings opgedoen en afgevoer is hospitaal toe. • Die trok het dwars oor die pad, oor al die bane gelê, maar verkeer is gereguleer langs die pad verby.

Kort na 21:00 was die Poort skoon en kon verkeer weer ongehinderd deurbeweeg.
