Honda Blackbird op Komati kragstasie gesteel

Die eienaars van ’n swart Honda CBR Blackbird 1100 doen ’n beroep op die gemeenskap om op die uitkyk te wees vir hulle gesteelde motorfiets.

Anita Stapelberg wat op Komati kragstasie bly, sê dat haar man se motorfiets vanoggend om 03:00 uit hulle motorhuis in Quailcressstraat gesteel is.

Haar man, Johan, was besig om nagskof te werk, toe die honde geweldig begin blaf. ’n Vrou wat in hulle buitekamer bly, het laat weet dat iets nie pluis is in hulle motorhuis nie.

Anita het vir Johan geskakel, wat haar gevra het dat sy gladnie alleen moet uitgaan nie.

Sy het haar tiener seun wakker gemaak, en hulle het hulle pitbulls eers laat uitgaan, voordat hulle na die motorhuis is. Teen daai tyd was die diewe en die motorfiets reeds weg.

“Ek het in die straat afgehardloop om te kyk of ek hulle nie dalk sien nie. Ek kon hoor die honde in die straat blaf, maar hulle was skoonveld.”

Met die hulp van bure, is hulle reeds besig om in die veld en bosse te soek in die hoop dat die diewe die motorfiets versteek het.

Anita sê dat daar Sondagaand ook by hulle bure reg oorkant hulle ingebreek is.

Sy het ’n saak by die polisie aangemeld, maar vra dat mense op die uitkyk moet wees vir die gesteelde motorfiets.

Die motorfiets se registrasienommer is FHH123MP, en die vinnommer is JH2SC35A0VM003250.
