Sy het in die Kaap by ’n vriendin gaan kuier om haar 60ste verjaardag te vier en is daarna na haar niggie in die Wes Kaap. Me. Bezuidenhout het skielik siek geword en is in die hospitaal opgeneem, waar sy positief vir die Covid-19 virus getoets het.

Die oomblik toe haar toestand agteruit gaan, het die hospitaal haar kinders in kennis gestel, waarop hulle almal soontoe gevlieg het. Hulle is toegelaat om tot laat die aand voor haar dood by haar te kuier.

Sy is deur haar gesin as ’n ystervrou en dinamiese mens wat baie vir ander mense gedoen het.
