Four arrested after business robbery
Four suspects were arrested on Friday, 28 May, after they allegedly committed a business robbery at a liquor outlet in Roossenekal.
Members of the Limpopo Highway Patrol (LHP), Roossenekal detectives, and crime prevention units assisted by Crime Intelligence, apprehended the four suspects soon after they allegedly committed the business robbery.
Four firearms, including two self-made shot guns and 26 boxes of ammunition, were recovered during the arrests.
The suspects, aged between 23 and 28, appeared in the Groblersdal Magistrates Court on Monday, the case was postponed to a later date.
• During the continuous weekly police operations that are being conducted across the Limpopo Province, the police also arrested a 35-year-old woman at Leeuwfontein under the Motetema Policing area outside Groblersdal, after she was found in possession of 159 sachets of nyaope, 25 sachets of crystal meth and 0.5 grams of dagga.
