Covid eis op en wakker tannie Cathy

Die op en wakker tannie Cathy Koch (74) is na vier weke in die intensiewe eenheid van die Life Midmed Hospitaal op 10 Junie oorlede.

Sy het weens Covid-19 nagevolge gesterf.

Haar man, Kochie, sê sy is aanvanklik gehospitaliseer vir longontsteking en is huistoe. Kort nadat sy ontslaan is, het hulle albei griep gekry.

Haar toestand het agteruit gegaan en het sy een dag uit die bed uit geval, waarop ’n ambulans ontbied is.

Me. Koch is in die intensiewe eenheid opgeneem, waar sy tot met haar afsterwe behandel is.

Sy is deur haar gesin beskryf as ’n mense, mens “wat die wêreld ’n beter plek wou maak.”

Me. Koch word oorleef deur haar man, Kochie, kinders, André en Liezel, skoonkinders Magdel en André en ses kleinkinders.
