Twee red tierboskat van gewisse dood

’n Trokdrywer en werknemer van Alzu het vanoggend saamgespan om ’n tierboskat te red.

Motoriste het hulle eers vervies vir die trokdrywer, net bekend as Bheki, wat skuins op die Loskopdampad gestop het.

Die viesheid het vinnig verander in “ag shame¨ toe hulle nader ry en sien dat hy so pakeer het, om ’n beseerde tierboskat se lewe te red. Die kat is waarskynlik vroeër raakgery. Daar was bloed aan sy neus.

Die beseerde tierboskat op die Loskopdampad.

Twee werknemers van Alzu wat op pad was na Groblersdal, Kelly Cornelius en Zak van Aswegen, het ook gestop.

Zak het ’n baadjie gevat, die tierboskat versigtig toegevou en na ’n veearts op Groblersdal geneem. Hy sê die kat, wat hom eers laat begaan het, het gespartel toe hy hom uit sy bakkie wou laai, wat wys dat daar nog krap in hom is.

Hy was vol lof vir die trokdrywer. “Hy moet spesiale vermelding kry, hy het die kat se lewe gered.”

Daar word nog gewag op terugvoer van die veearts af.
