The spill has resulted in several motorists slipping and losing control of their vehicles and could potentially cause an accident.

Heavy motor vehicles stopping at the intersection cannot pull away due to the slippery road conditions.

Www.mobserver.co.za has reported the spill to STLM and the Middelburg Fire Department.

Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution.
