Gholfklub legende gegroet

Die joviale Kobus Byleveldt (57), is Dinsdag oorlede.

Kobus, ook bekend as Kabous, is in die nagtelike ure oorlede aan Covid-19 verwante oorsake.

Kobus se vrou, Elize, het haar geliefde man beskryf as ’n “verskriklike groot persoonlikheid wat diep spore in almal se harte agtergelaat het”.

Kobus en Elize was vir die laaste 21 jaar in Middelburg woonagtig, waar hy sy eie besigheid bedryf het, bekend as KB Building Supplies. Kobus was ’n groot legende by die Middelburg Buiteklub waar hy graag gholf gespeel het.

Sy vriend, Andre Nel, het vertel dat Kobus onder sy gholfmaats baie geliefd was en altyd onthou sal word vir sy groot gees. Hy was ook ’n fanatiese Blou Bull ondersteuner, en het altyd ’n grap gehad om te deel.

Kobus laat sy vrou Elize, dogters Danéll, Chantéll en Nadia, twee kleinseuns, sy ouers en sy broer en suster agter.

Teen druktyd was begrafnisreëlings nog nie gefinaliseer nie.
