Intensiewe eenheid vol en tog…

Ten spyte van weeklikse Covidverwante sterftes en ’n vol intensiewe eenheid, is daar steeds mense wat hulle nie steur aan Covid-19 regulasies nie.

•’n Inwoner het sy misnoeë uitgespreek, nadat daar berig is oor ’n kinderpartytjie, waar die drank vrylik gevloei het.

•Inwoners het ook gereageer na ’n video-opname op www.mobserver.co.za geplaas is, van skoolkinders wat saamdrom terwyl twee sangomas in ’n kringetjie, sonder maskers, dans.

•’n Vrou, wat anoniem wou bly, het ook vertel van die personeel by ’n plaaslike eetplek in die middedorp, nadat sy kos bestel het. Terwyl sy haar bestelling geplaas het, het nie een lid van die personeel, vanaf die kasregister tot in die kombuis, maskers gedra nie.

Tydens haar besoek, het sy byna “histeries geraak” nadat iemand in die kombuis genies het.

Wat haar die meeste ontstel het, was toe die bestuurder gelag het oor haar klagte. Sy het inwoners aangeraai om die personeel by die eetplekke dop te hou, en voel sulke gevalle moet gerapporteer word.

Plaaslike dokters en aptekers het ’n beroep op die gemeenskap gedoen om verantwoordelik op te tree, terwyl hulle tans ’n stryd voer teen die derde golf.
