Covid-19 eis egpaar en hul dogter binne drie weke
Belfast is in rou gedompel nadat ’n hele gesin binne drie weke aan Covid-19 oorlede is.
Errol Hamann is Woensdag, 30 Junie oorlede, nadat hy die gevreesde virus opgedoen het. Sy vrou Dianne, wat 17 jaar by die eiendomsagentskap Aïda werksaam was, het ook siek geraak en is opgeneem vir behandeling by Mediclinic in Ermelo.
Haar toestand het sodanig versleg dat sy Donderdag, 8 Julie, kort na middernag oorlede is.
Terwyl hul dogter Nicolette (Nicky) tuis oor die dood van beide haar ouers gerou het, het sy ook siek geword. Sy is ook in Ermelo Mediclinic opgeneem waar sy Woensdag (gister) oorlede is.

Sy het saam haar ma by Aïda gewerk en kollegas sukkel tans om die dubbele verlies te verwerk.
Die enigste oorlewende lid van die gesin, Kurt, is in Australië, waar hy weens Covid-19 afsonderingsmaatreëls nie na Suid-Afrika kan reis nie.
Verassingsdienste sal vir al drie die oorledenes gehou word.
