Police seek Mhluzi cash-in-transit robbers

The Mhluzi Police are looking for two men who robbed a cash-in-transit guard.

According to the police report the incident happened on Wednesday at about 09:00 at eMhluzi Mall.

The guard was on his way back with the cash collected from Mr Price, when he was assaulted by two men. One of the men grabbed the guard’s service pistol while the other suspect made off with the cash.

The two unknown men made off with the undisclosed money in a black Volkswagen Golf 1.

Sgt. Thabitha Malehase of the Mhluzi Police said investigations are currently underway.

Anyone with information about the two suspects’ whereabouts is requested to urgently contact the Mhluzi Police Station on 013 244 7101/013 244 7119 or the Crime Stop Number on 08600 10111.
