DBV red kat wat vir ure in lemmetjiesdraad vassit

Die span van die Middelburg Dierebeskermingsvereniging moes gisteroggend ’n wilde kat, wat in ’n lemmetjiesdraad vasgesit het, gaan red.

Senior inspekteur Petro Oberholzer (bestuurder, Middelburg DBV) sê die kat het al die vorige nag in die lemmetjiesdraad op ’n muur in Brugstraat vestrengel geraak en hulle is gisteroggend gekontak.

Alhoewel hulle die dier kon loskry uit die lemmetjiesdraad uit, was sy beserings van so ’n aard dat hulle hom moes uitsit.
