Papapavlou vrou gearresteer vir moord

Simoné Papapavlou is tans agter tralies in verband met die moord op haar man Raymond, wat in Oktober 2020 in sy slaapkamer in die Rooikraal omgewing dood geskiet is. 

Daar is verneem dat Simoné, vergesel deur haar regsverteenwoordiger, haarself vanoggend by die Groblersdal polisiestasie gaan oorgee het waarna sy in hegtenis geneem is.

Sy sal na verwagting more in die landdroshof in Groblersdal verskyn.

Haar naam het saam met die van Patricia Ray-Lee Smith, wat reeds in Oktober 2020 aangekla is, op die klagstaat verskyn maar sy is nie destyds gearresteer nie.

Smith is aangekla van sameswering tot moord. Sy is tans uit op borg.

Daar word verneem dat Simoné se arrestasie volg na ’n aanbeveling van die vervolingsgesag. Sy word aangekla van moord, poging tot moord, sameswering tot moord, regsverydeling en die besit van ’n ongelisensieërde vuurwapen.
