No case of malicious damage opened for “burnt truck”
A truck was burnt in Mhluzi last night by protesters.

Mhluzi Police spokesperson, Sergeant Thabitha Malehase, said no case of malicious damage to property has been reported at the station.
The Middelburg Police spokesperson Sergeant Nonhlanhla Mdluli also confirmed that no case of malicious damage was opened at the station.
Violence broke out on Monday in Mhluzi due to increased municipal tariffs.
Protesters also vandalized the street lights on Nelson Mandela drive near the eMhluzi Mall.
Major roads in Mhluzi, Rockdale, Hlalamnandi and the N11 have been barricaded with rocks and burning tyres.
