Nine in court for Nkangala Heritage Day fraud

The Nkangala District Municipality's Executive Mayor, two other employees, a Traditional Coucil secretary and several company owners appeared in the Middelburg Magistrate’s Court in connection with fraud allegedly committed when money was procured for Heritage Day celebrations that never took place..

All nine were granted R10 000 bail and the matter was postponed until 10 September for it to be transferred to another court.
