Video of snow prediction a hoax

The video circulating on social media, warning of possible snowfall in the Gauteng and parts of the Mpumalanga regions has been debunked by the South African Weather Service as a hoax.

According to SAWS, South Africa is preparing for a cold front that is expected to arrive on Thursday, with possible snowfall predicted in the high lying areas of the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape as well as Drakensberg.

Middelburg is in for a moderate week with cold expected to arrive by the weekend.
