Bakkie bandits strike again, making off with Nissan NP200 bakkie
It's believed to be the same car thieves that struck in February.

The bakkie bandits have struck again at OH Frewin Printers in Meyer Street, where two Nissan NP200 bakkies, belonging to the company, were stolen in February this year.
On Thursday, another Nissan NP200 bakkie, belonging to OH Frewin employee, Mr Bongani Khayingani, was also stolen from the parking area designated to employees, from where the other two were also stolen in February.
In February, a white SUV parked next to the two stolen vehicles, followed by what is suspected to be a look out vehicle standing between OH Frewin and the Middelburg Observer, was caught on CCTV cameras, though the footage was taken too far, and was too grainy, to identify the vehicles and thieves.
Personnel of the printing company say they’ve seen three suspicious men in two Toyota Avanzas hanging around in front of the company throughout the week.
On Monday the three men showed up in a white Avanza twice, and both times personnel observed the driver passing a cell phone to the passenger in the back.
On Wednesday the same three men showed up in a silver Avanza, parking close to the parking spot where the bakkie was stolen.
The were seen eating around the car with the boot and all car doors open.
It’s believed to be the same car thieves that struck in February.
Residents are urged to be on the lookout for the white bakkie, with registration FVL814MP.
