New kid on the block, Spectrum National Party, introduce ward candidates

The Spectrum National Party has released its ward candidate list for November 1's local government elections.

The new kid on the block says it aims to provide equal race representation with its candidates, comprising black, white, brown and Indian.

The candidates are:

Ward 3 – Zanele Ester Shibanyoni
Ward 4 – Hester Cathriena Potgieter
