Shortly thereafter a contractor at the Kanonkop/Dennesig substation was attacked. Vehicle windows were thrown out with rocks and tyres were slashed.

It is said that workers have now intensified their intimidation attempts on any contractor working within the municipality.

Members of the public as well as members of community safety groups are requested to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity, especially at substations.
