Covid is back

It would appear that the dreaded fourth wave is picking up momentum here in Middelburg after frightening queues were seen at Lancet Laboratory's testing stations.

During a visit to the Life Midmed Hospital, it was observed that vehicles lining up at the drive-through testing station had reached as far as the Methodist Church.

During an interview with two local physicians, it was confirmed that the Omicron variant is likely made its way to Middelburg.
