Suspect to appear in court for attempted CIT

Brig Selvy Mohlala, Mpumalanga Provincial Spokesperson, said the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation team in Mpumalanga, Head Office’s National Priority Violent Crimes and Tactical Operations Management Services made the arrest on Friday.

Police followed up on information received which led them to a house where they could not find the suspect.

They then identified a house in Mondeor where the suspects was finally traced.

Except for the attempted CIT robbery in Blinkpan, he has also been connected with a robbery in Seshego in March.

The 30 year-old suspect will remain in custody until Monday when he will appear in the Middelburg Magistrate’s Court.
