Over 30 disadvantaged families benefitted from the generous handover of food and clothing by the Gethsemane Land of Restoration outreach programme (GLOR).
The outreach programme paid a visit to the Newtown community last week Saturday, where food parcels, clothing, a braai and entertainment for the children were arranged by the good Samaritans.

Ms Nelly Masina, the driving force behind GLOR, explained that their outreach programme is a non-denominational prayer group that comes together every Monday evening to pray over the community.
Their group aims to live out the text of Luke 14, verses 12–14, which speaks of taking care of widows and children. They are determined to assist struggling families through donations on a monthly basis.
