House robbery in Tokologo

Mhluzi Police are looking for four men who broke into a house in Tokologo on Monday. According to the complainant the armed men broke into his home around noon.

Two of the men pointed firearms at the complainant and instructed him to go into one of the bedrooms to open a safe box, before physically assaulting him

Sergeant Thabitha Malehase said the suspects made off with cash, cellphones, a pellet-gun, wedding rings, vehicle certificates and other jewellery before fleeing.

The unknown men were wearing black clothing and masks.

• Another common robbery case was opened with the Mhluzi Police following a robbery that took place at the eMhluzi Mall last Sunday at about 22:00.

The victim told the police that he went to the mall to withdraw money.

As he was walking towards the gate of the mall he was approached by three men who threatened him with a knife.

The men made off with the complainant’s cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Sergeant Malehase urged residents to be vigilant when using an ATM.
