Roxy first princess in Mrs South Africa!

One of our own, former Mrs Mpumalanga Roxy van Bruwaene, was crowned first princess in the Mrs South Africa 2022 pageant at Emperors Palace.

“I thank my country for entrusting me with this title, by the grace of God, I will serve you until I can no longer!”
Roxy says she will always remember the journey, “In my wildest dreams, I could never have imagined the outcome, but I owe this crown to everyone that has supported me on my journey. Your love has humbled me, and it leaves me speechless. You are the change we want to see in our country, you are the true spirit of Ubuntu, by taking everyone with us, we aren’t leaving anyone behind.”

Next year Roxy will be raising awareness against gender-based violence through the #Enough campaign by hosting another Super Car Run, a sanitary towel roll out, and helping to build Mokibe Primary School.
Roxy is the Marketing Manager of a family-owned engineering firm and owns her own wine label, Rare Diamond. They are in the process of bottling their first Méthode Cap Classique.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing, a Bachelor of Communications degree in Advertising and has completed her Level 3 in WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust).
Roxy is married to Jacques, and they have three children.
