Koets Street stabbing leaves bloody trail

A Limpopo woman suffered extreme blood-loss and is currently fighting for her life after a vicious stabbing at a residence in Koets Street.

The crime scene, located on the corner of Koets- and Boncker Street, right opposite a daycare centre, drew the attention of passers by at around 08:30 this morning after the victim dragged herself from the back of the property all the way to the front, where she lay in a pool of blood calling for help.

The woman allegedly was visiting the residents of the house, when she was attacked this morning.

She sustained life threatening stab wounds and lacerations to her legs.

Glass panels on the back door was smashed.

Paramedics from ER 24 stabilised the woman before she was rushed to hospital. Law Enforcement, including Vispol and the Military Police were on the scene where forensic evidence was collected.

A case of attempted murder is being investigated.

A bloody trail was left as the victim dragged herself from the back door to the gate, calling for help.
