Mystery killing of cattle in Stoffberg

The killing of four head of cattle in Stoffberg has sent a shock wave down the spine of an emerging farmer.

The owner of the cattle, Johannes Skhosana, said he received a call from his daughter while he was at work on Wednesday.

His daughter told him that she had discovered the cattle near the farm pond. Mr Skosana suspects that the water was poisoned.

It is not clear what poison was used to kill the cattle. Mr Skosana is waiting for autopsy results.

The motive behind the incident is not known.
