Lighuis Gemeente Middelburg is calling on Middelburgers to make donations to KZN flood victims.

Pastor Danie Venter, said the church saw a need to aid the flood victims, “ We are doing what the word of God expects us to,” said Pastor Venter.

The church started the initiative last Sunday. Church members have already started donating non-perishable food, clothing and other essential items.

Pastor Venter said the church would like to transport the donations to KZN next week.

Anyone who would like to lend a helping hand can contact Dr Tinus van der Merwe on 083 234 2844 or visit the church, which is situated at 155 Pongola Street, Aerorand.

The church is open from 08:00-13-00 on weekdays.
