At least four explosions took place during a brazen ATM bombing at the Sasol Doornkop filling station in the early hours of this morning.

The attack took place shortly before 01:00 today.

The convenience shop was badly damaged in the blasts.

Luckily, no one was injured.

The gang of robbers also hijacked two vehicles to make their escape.

Both hijacked vehicles were recovered on the N11 following the attack.

Kranspoort security groups also responded to the attack by offering search assistance for the robbers.

Many spent and live rounds of ammunition was recovered at the scene.
