Family in agony after fatal Stoffberg road crash

The Doornkop community is mourning the death of the man who tragically lost his life in a head-on collision on Monday morning.

Sipho Leyane (36) and his colleague were on their way to work when their company bakkie collided with another vehicle.

The father of two was killed on impact.

It was misty when the accident occurred at about 06:00 near the Elandslaagte turn-off on the Stoffberg road.

The vehicle Mr Leyane was travelling in.

According to first responders, both drivers were trapped in the wreckage.

The deceased’s brother, Mbuso, described him as a calm, peaceful person who was loved by all.

Mr Leyane is survived by his two sons and three siblings.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday at the Nasaret Cemetery and the funeral service will be held in Doornkop at 07:00.
